reading - le petit prince

I've just read this very famous book, "the little prince" of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, 2 days ago. I'm aware of that it may sound strange to read such a story book at age of 22, but this one is not only for children at all. It's quite philosophical and says manythings about life, love, belongingness, responsibility, human etc... Anyway if I could have an opportunity to read it first time at my 8 (instaed of twenty thousand leagues under the sea) I would love reading much more in my elementary school years.

Ice cream generation

so far I bacame to consume rather much ice cream, so I thougt that one worths to mention too. in the beginning of 90's these kids were upon the take home ice cream boxes, and still efendiler acıbadem uses this pic. As far I could see from their clothes this pic's taken in 60's or 70's. I think that it's the right choice to use same pic for years that represents joy and pleasure. And also this one probably makes many people recall memories and feel nostalgia.

a short trip on the miljacka (after the rain)

last week, thursday, seems so far away from today. Since those who were still struggling with their final exams were sittin'&studyin' at home, I enjoyed with my loneliness&emptiness on the miljacka riverside:) that means I had lots of time to spend, takin' pictures of some little creatures. The topic is snails and leech like animals and little bit darkness. I think I started to like grotesque, or m getting used to:P

that little dude seems rather cute

a typical charismatic snail... shell, horn etc.

cooperation!

some eats alone

haha :D my fave. selfish&greedy

meaningful...(altogether in nature)

I kept walkin' thru the path. singin' ...under neon loneliness motorcycle emptineeeess....

moon! you are so far :s

but, I got another you just behind the tree:D

let's dive into the sky

weird but somehow this scene reminds me kadikoy shore:s

does anyone need a map? not me anymore!

she looks fanciful

last night 'cause of studying for intro political science exam (for today) I got so bored, that desk lamp and the nail lacquer catch my eye and I had an excuse to have a break, painted and tied a flower, ribbon around her neck. Thanks to politics she's more stylish with these stars than before:P

does it remind u nicolas jenson and freedom?

In the end of the last term, my final assignment on digital imaging course was to make a work which represents the concept of "freedom", have a designer to present and imitate his style on the work. And lucky me, I had the type designer and printer Nicolas Jensons who lived in the renaissance era and created roman typefaces. firstly, I supposed that I had to create a typeface! but later my dear instructor suggested me to draw a picture using only types. In this work I used some old cliché; birds, book, window and sun to represent the idea of freedom. obviously this one worked.

cutting diaries

when I read my old diary, if I was sad I felt hopeless. if I was glad I found these old days ridiculous. Thus, it was already in my mind for a long time to get rid of this unpleasant time-machine; burning it, throwing into the river or burying in the forest...
I dont remember exactly, it was nearly 5 or 6 months ago, in a usual gloomy sarajevo winter day, I took a look at my old diary and said "this is the day". I took my hand a gaslighter and went out to the terrace to burn it. However this trial failed because of the freezing wind. Afterwards, my solution was to cut all the pages one by one. I don't know how I would feel when watching it burning but I'm sure that cutting it by hand and scissor had a therapeutic effect on me. I guess cutting any kind of paper is always a joy for anyone but this was a great experience.when it is a diary which I've written so many memories and thoughts in between my 14 and 16.
I don't myself even wonder where those pieces are now but in case to inform, I've put 'em in a plastic bag and throw into the big thrash container. Probably they're taken by a paper collector and already became recycled as a newspaper, notebook... or diary..

fruittea cake

As drinking fruit and spices flavoured hot tea, I thought that pouring these tea particles in cake would be nice. Before my little experiment I made a research to see if someone tried it before and what was the result. Than I could hardly find a text which was saying that it's okay to put some tea particles inside the cake. So I decided to try and see it myself.
I applied the usual cake making procedure except adding only 3 teabags of winter time in it, not to go further. The smell was so excellent but I can not say the same thing for the taste. It was still delicious but not so much different from the usual vanilla flavoured ones. Maybe that's because I poured only 3 teabags. If it was 4 or 5, the taste would be more intense. However, I still think that it's important to be careful about the amounts when doing the first trials.
Anyway, no matter it is; yogurt, milk, juice or black tea with or within the cake, we (me and home-mates) all like it if the intention is to eat something with sugar inside.
